Even though she’s emotionally reserved from practically everyone and has some trust issues, doesn’t mean she won’t have a few friends to talk to and hang out with. So yes, some friends would be great for Maylea, I don’t want any super close best friends forever relationships though simply because of her personality and fears, something like close/best friends is something I’d like to develop slowly overtime and through roleplay. But yes, apart from close friends and best friends, you can suggest any other kind of friend like enemy turned friend, battle buddy, party friend, whatever comes to mind really!

Team Rocket members mostly considering she doesn’t want to be a part of the organisation anymore, there are probably going to be revengeful of the fact that she ran away and holds personal information on them all and the team. She’s untrusting of all rocket members as she knows what many are capable of, who knows what one of them will do next. She’s obviously going to have dislikes and enemies outside of Team Rocket too, perhaps someone who’s annoyed her or someone who’s angry at her for some reason, or they just don’t mesh because of their personalities. No restrictions on enemies, feel free to suggest anything.[/font]

A bit tricky considering she has trust issues and is reserved from practically everyone therefore she’s not going to allow herself to get romantically emotional towards a man because of those issues of hers. So final love is banned, considering she won’t allow herself to become that strongly bonded to another person, probably no boyfriends either. Going on dates would be fine as long as they don’t get emotionally serious, she isn’t looking to settle down with anyone but going on a date or two isn’t going to do anyone any harm. So even though serious love is something I’m not allowing for her, you can have perhaps crushes, dates, past or anything which doesn’t lead to something serious. If I do decide that I would like her to someday be in a serious loving relationship, I’d prefer to play it out through roleplay considering it would mean she’d have to go through character development.[/font]

jakob should know that she was once a team rocket member. he's not intensely evil, and when you get to know him, it's hard to believe he'd ever join team rocket; so they're pretty similar. perhaps he sort of wonders why she left team rocket? maybe they were friends? maybe he goes to visit her in cianwood city to get her to reconsider her decision to leave team rocket? i feel like these two would have been close at one point, but are beginning to grow apart, maybe they meet up again and decide to settle for just being friends?

that sounds like a pretty nice idea. perhaps before she became a gym leader she didnt know he was the champion? i think that would have been a rather funny reaction for her to find out an active tr was the champion just after she became the gymleader. well she wouldnt think it was funny, she'd probably get hell nervous. or perhaps she doesn't know until our thread. though that would mean she's probably been living under a rock ever since she left tr. xD

anyway, when he does visit she'd probably be very tense and nervous about it considering she's going to worry about what he's going to do and why he was there. but perhaps she relaxes after a while, especially if they were close in the past and they talk things out then? she'd probably make him promise her not to tell anyone about where she is at the end of their meeting. but yeah, being just friends would be great~

I like Maylea's bad past with TR and how it kind of relates to how Layfon acts in a way. Basically, I like the idea of maybe Layfon finding sometime later how Maylea was able to run away and make a new life as a gym leader, and it'd help with him moving past his own fears too?

Whoops, I guess that's going a bit too far, but I guess it should start low as friends or acquaintances? I'm thinking perhaps he had challenger her gym or met her at a coffee shop and develop the relationship from there?

maybe he'll find out, i'm not sure, i don't want everyone in the world to find out may's secret you see. considering it is meant to be a secret. anyway for now, developing a friendship sounds great and perhaps she could give him words of encouragement about moving on without telling him her past in tr? but i like the idea of them starting off as simple acquaintances and becoming friends over time, the coffee shop too~ perhaps he could have battled at her gym in the past and one of them sees the other in the coffee shop so they pop in to say hello, then it becomes a full-blown conversation somehow?

Haha, sorry! I kinda just jumped in and typed the whole idea when it came to my mind. I'm impulsive like that :3. But yeah, for sure, starting as acquaintances would be great. I don't think Layfon's strong enough to beat her at his current lazy state anyways lol.
