[/i].☇ POKEMON INFORMATIONJUST A COUPLE OF RULES★ first off, because i know everybody will be asking - no - pokemon past generation II do not exist anywhere in the region at the moment. that means you can only have pokemon from generations I and II.
★ please don't give your character pokemon they don't have access to, or are too much for them to handle. for example, a beginning trainer from new bark town isn't going to have a tyranitar - or even a larvitar, for that matter; they'll probably have their starter and one or two other pokemon such as pidgey, sentret, or maybe even a bellsprout if they're lucky.
★ if a pokemon is rare in the games, chances are, it's still going to be rare here. so all you eevee-fans out there ~ do not go overboard! all pokemon listed below are rare - as are their evolutions!
[/ul]
★ no legendaries. period.
★ there are no levels. however, if a pidgey is battling a feraligatr, lets be realistic. no pidgey could win that battle unless it's rigged.
★ pokemon can learn four moves (same as in the games). a pokemon can use any move regardless of what level it learns it or the method, as long as it's reasonable (no low-leveled pikachus with thunder or brand new trainers with cyndaquils that can use eruption). all moves must be from generation IV or lower.
★ pokemon can evolve whenever, however, give them a reasonable amount of time in one evolution before moving onto the next. pokemon that evolve by trade still evolve by trade and pokemon that evolve by item (such as an evolutionary stone) still need the trainer to present the item to the pokemon.
★ you can't win them all. there will always be someone stronger than you, especially if you're character is a beginning trainer. dodging moves in a pokemon battle is fine - however, it doesn't happen every single time. strengths and weaknesses in pokemon and move types must also be taken into consideration.
★ pokemon can die. don't forget that.
