Caderyn found him as a fossil. Upon resurrection, the Aerodactyl proved to be a ferocious pokemon, and very much confused. It was later on that the pokemon calmed down and began to trust them. A rather shy pokemon, especially when Alex comes around. He keeps to himself, not wanting to be a bother to others. He, however, gets along with Aeon.
