Character Profile/Images?

I couldn't find a pure Questions board so I figured this was the next best place. o3o

Anyway. I have a character. I'd love to make her here. However, I have a problem: the only images I have of her are Trainer-sprite style (and one that's basically a 'doll' because it's more shaded and such but still basically "trainer sprite") and then screenshots from when I made her with The Sims 3.

It's also stated that the character application form should not be changed in any way.

...So. Am I allowed to delete the three-images bit? Or possibly use the sprites?

...Finding an anime character who looks like her isn't really an option as no attractive girl in anime has a crooked nose like her, or...well, I'm pretty specific about her appearance.

So yeah. 8'D I've always LOVED GenII so muuuch<3 and I'd love to RP here. But images just aren't options for...several of my characters actually. o3o And the few that have sprites are...eh. 'x3;

unfortunately, you do need the three images, as well as a proper face claim - however, if you show me the sprite or give me a good description of your character, I would gladly help you find a nice face claim (i have a large list of good ones)

o3o you NEED a Face Claim? Sadness. 'x3 (I didn't see that in the rules, so yeah. Didn't know that was necessary.)

So she's not coming here then. ;3; (The closest she looks to any face claim I've ever seen is this one character in the first several episodes of Ouran HS Host Club, and that's if you give her a Lady Gaga-like nose, dye her hair pale-blue, get rid of her boobs, and even then the face still isn't right...=3= *has used this character for like 5 years now 'xD*)

...Thoughwait. Looking through the folder of images I have for her I DO have a dressup of her, if accurate and looks too young. o3o

Alright ~ so the first person that pops into my mind is Kisara from YuGiOh, but she's a bit hard to find good icons of since she's only in the series towards the end; however, I do happen to absolutely love her, so I have a couple ~ one - two - three - four

Or, if she isn't perfect, there's also Miku Hatsune from Vocaloid (look her up ~) though she's a bit too young, I think...

And if you're still not satisfied, you could always go with Karin from Pokemon (Johto Elite Four) click, though she's damn near impossible to find good icons of.

Personally, I would suggest Kisara. I mean, normally, it takes me a couple of minutes to think of a face claim - nope! I saw your lil figure and the first name that popped into my head was "kisara" she's legitimately perfect! But, hey, if you have your own opinions, than that's totally fine, but here is a good yugioh livejournal community if you want to hunt down any more Kisara icons.

x'3 I didn't need to look her up since my bf LOVES the crap out of Vocaloid and Miku. x'D

...Besides being a bit too young, though Yuki's age can always be changed. x'3 I LIKE playing her early-20's and consider that "current" but I can she also looks too...happy-go-lucky. My character, Yukiko, is VERY proud/arrogant, and her facial expression shoes this. x'3 Miku does not have anything like that.

Kisara's not a BAD fit, I guess, but she looks too...I don't know. Also the only one with the blue hair that does not show the boobs--Yukiko is like totally flat--looks so innocent, and...x'3

Yeah, basically the biggest problem here would be the fact that Yukiko does not fit any sort of attractive Anime archetype so...x'3 (like she'd almost be loli except she looks so freaking snooty but then any rich/whatever chars ALWAYS have nice big boobs and...x'3; yeah Yuki's under 100 lbs. Not just skinny but like ._. seriously needs to gain weight)

Ohey I asked my friend about who the char from Ouran was, and I got her name and thus her picture~ click here That's her ideal face, but I'm looking through Miku images to see if I can find anything good enough. x'3 Thanks for the help~

You could use this site to help a little bit? Not the greatest site in the world but it could give you a few ideas for face claims.

Sounds cool ~ I have quite a few icons of Miku, as well, if you would like them ~ there definitely are icons of her with that facial expression (such as this one) - it's just a matter of where you look.

And I agree, the anime-database is awesome - the one thing I find tricky about it is that it gives quite a few characters from anime that are kind of hard to find - or, at least, find good pictures of =[

I found an image on with Google for a Miku that worked, and tinted so it's even better x'D making own icons ftw.

By the way, I forgot to say in that last post--part of why I lol'd so hard at Miku is because Yukiko's original design includes pigtails. x'D And predates Miku by a little bit. x'D

First of all, no genders on the Pokemon? Daww. That matters a lot to Yukiko. x'3

Secondly, and more importantly--I didn't see a History section on the character sheet. ._. Is this intentional? I...guess there's nothing wrong with lacking a History part, but...Yukiko has this long history that explains everything and is epic win. Also long. 'xD (While her history on Vicious Circle is for an older version of her, it's not all THAT much older, and it's like 5,000 words. x'''D *shotsohard* not that it'd be nearly that long here, but still...x'3)

sure there are genders of pokemon, however, the choice of adding genders in your application is optional (just put it next to the nickname)

As for history sections - I find them to be a complete waste of time. Some characters just don't have interesting pasts - especially ten year old kids starting their pokemon journey. If you're that in need of adding a history, feel free to do it in the thread tracker after your character has been accepted. That way I also don't have to look over it in order to accept her (:

Saaay, I've thought of a new question.

The Pokemon my character is not complete without is a Senasel, which is rare.

Since you can start with high-level Pokemon here, I had an idea for another of her Pokemon to be a way too-high-levelled Shiny Rapidash. It was her father's and while it likes her, there would be the problem of doesn't-really-trust-battle-strategy and sometimes not listening like there is with in-game high-levelled Pokemon you didn't catch yourself.

(Also it would be Shiny because of the severl Rapidash her father owned, she liked this one best specifically because it had blue-grey flames.)

If she has any more Pokemon aside from these two, it would be things like Nidoran♀ and Meowth and other very-common things x'Dand probably at least a few levels lower than her Sneasel, which will be like lv 30ish at most. Comparatively, the Rapidash would be like Lv80's or above.

So yeah, is this okay? 8'D

(man I haven't roleplayed Teen!Yukiko in soo long...like since before I was a teen myself probably x''D and since I'm turning 19 this December...yeah x'3)

...the above parenthetical reminds me: I was thinking Teen!Yuki would be older than I finally decided when signing up. Is there a way to change birthdate on here? 'xD; *hasn't been on ProBoards much at all* I looked on the modify profile and couldn't find it on there; is there like an admin function that allows that, or am I stuck with the wrong birthday? (It's a day off for myself but two years off for Yuki at this age, soo...yeah x'3;)

one - sneasel is fine, however, i would prefer if you didn't have a shiny rapidash (unless your character's father had eight thousand + rapidash). also, a level 80-ish rapidash that belonged to the character's father would probably be rather old and frail in the present.

second - i really don't think birthday is too important.

xD He did have a fuckton of Rapidash, but more like...10-50 I'd think. o3o

(He's a super-awesome Dragon trainer that also does fire and stuffs, and kept a few high-levelled Rapi and a lot of moderate-levelled ones for his stables. x'D Rich family is rich, but she's renounced ties with them so...x'D)

So, are our Pokemon allowed to start off with hold items? o3o I was thinking that Yukiko might have bought a Razor Claw mostly for the crit. hit boost it gives, but also that IF you ever happen to allow 3rd+ gen Pokemon, that it would be SO GREAT to roleplay out said evolution, because it indicates max happiness, and...yeah<3

i was gonna say ~ having 1000+ rapidash would be hard to hold in one place, but 8000+ seems unbearable XD 50ish seems like a normal amount, though it's still super rare to get a shiny one ~

as for evolutions in generation III and up, i'm still debating. i'll probably come to a conclusion after a few events have passed in the role play - see where we stand ~!
