THE POSITIVE: valen is an everything type of guy, well on some things, some things he's just not an everything type. strong, protective, caring; he's loving, very lovable and fair. he's a gentleman, some would say but he doesn't consider himself to be one. his protectiveness is a postivie and negative, it sometimes gets in the way especially when he doesn't want to lose someone. he doesn't like seeing others get hurt, especially someone he is extremely close to so he'll stand in front of a bullet so no one gets hurt. sometimes his feet just move themselves, so if he ends up dead, well it's probably because he saved jake from being killed. that's just him and his protectiveness. his strength isn't exactly physical, [he is strong physically], but mental. being strong mental just means he recovers quickly and other things. valen is very caring when it comes to relationships, especially love, then he's protective, caring and loving. love, to him, is special and he holds onto it if he loves them. he is a morning person so usually you'll see him jumping up and down in the morning trying to get his pokemon up [some aren't morning pokemon].
THE NEGATIVE: there's not that much of valen that's negative other than being so protective over people, especially over a certain someone. but he's not perfect, he can be a sore loser sometimes, but he gets over it pretty quickly. he can talk too much sometimes, especially to someone he likes, close to, or just friends with. he also
can be a bit shy, he doesn't like opening up to people that much, unless it's someone really close to him. he doesn't open up as fast though, it takes sometimes weeks or months but eventually, he opens up to someone. other negatives include him being a total shit temper most of the time. he can be stubborn, especially when he thinks something is his fault, he'll try and fix even if it wasn't his fault. when he gets hurt, he stands right back up, pushing himself harder to become stronger. he is extremely stubborn about that.

There are too many things Valen likes, there's dog pokemon and fire pokemon. There's his family, close friends, laughing, having a good time. So many things, but where to start. I guess you could start at pokemon. Valen is a sort of a picky person, especially with pokemon, actually he's more than a sort of picky, he's very with pokemon. He is obsessed with fire pokemon, he believes in this as power as energy. He just loves it. Though their weaknesses irritate him, he survives. The only pokemon he allows is Pyxx and he has his own reasons for that [see Pyxx on next post]. Food is something he's sort of picky on, if it looks gross he doesn't even touch it. He likes spicy food though, and ramen, of course. Sweets are yummy to him, anything hot during the winter and cold during the summer are his heros. Friends is something he values, they are something that is close to him. He likes to battle with his friends, since if one wins and the other loses, it doesn't really matter, it's just practice; he likes to be around them too, it makes him feel safe. Having a good time with friends is one of his favorites, he likes to laugh, to humor others, he hates seeing others sad. Seeing others sad, and wanting him to humor them, that's what makes him protective. He loves protecting others, he doesn't like seeing others getting hurt so he always puts himself in danger instead of the others. [It's always been a strength and weakness for him.]
DISLIKES: There's not many things that Valen doesn't like, he's more of a like everything type of person but he has his hates and grudges. He dislikes losing, he's slightly a sore loser but can survive, he doesn't just get all pissed off about it. So that's a downside and an upside with him losing. He dislikes bug pokemon, he think they are weak, even normal pokemon. If it isn't fire [or eletric], he doesn't like it and would rather have no pokemon at all.
HOBBIES: He doesn't really have hobbies, but if you watch him for probably a week, you can see he hobbies, he just doesn't admit it. One thing you'll notice is that he always has his pokemon out of their pokeballs when he's at home and that he always tends to them first before himself. Always, even if it's food, [well he has to wait for his ramen, so he's got time]. Another thing he definitely does every day is exercize, he wants to become strong, so he can keep protecting the people around him. every day as well, valen fights phsyically with his pokemon.
FEARS: Valen never really had fears, other than seeing others getting hurt. this is what brought out his protectiveness.[/ul][/blockquote][/size][/color]

[/b]: Valen was given Lyrik as a gift from his father, they became the perfect team, side by side all the time. even at night while Valen slept, Lyrik had watched over him. they trained together over and over, and after leaving his hometown and going to a firey place, Lyrik stayed with him, making sure to protect him and keep the rest of his pokemon in line.[/ul]

[/b]: Tyga was originally Valen's mothers, though hers, he used her a lot, he would play with her with Lyrik and soon made a great bond. his mother gave Tyga seeing there was no need for her to have a pokemon anymore since she didn't travel anymore and Tyga needed to be out there [since she was only at level fifteen]. months after getting ownership of her, they had bred Tyga and his family was blessed with quite a litter. being a good friend, Valen had given one of the puppies he thought was the best to his best friend, Jake. In return, he had gotten his pokemon Charmandor. the rest of the litter was sold, except for one for his mother to take care of.[/ul]


NICKNAME: Ayce
LEVEL: Lv 64
MOVESET: bite -- fire spin -- last resort -- smog

[/b]: Ayce was an eevee before and Valentino had a hard time catching this little harsh pokemon. but as time went, he was able to catch him. as time went, Ayce didn't listen to Valen at all but after more training, Ayce started to lighten up to him and when he was able to evolve Ayce, he did, into flareon.[/ul]


NICKNAME: Pyxx
LEVEL: Lv 45
MOVESET: fustration -- thunder -- nasty plot -- return

[/b]: during his training, Valen was remembering about his best friend, [well ex-best friend, they had drifted apart] and just one day he got up and decided to catch a pichu. it reminded him of Jake, one because he had a pikachu and two, he was small and clumsy as a child and this little pokemon had caught his heart as a friend just like Jake did. he named pichu, Pyxx, after Jake's pikachu so even though Valen never saw Jake, he could still be reminded of with Pyxx. [newest addition to pokemon].[/ul]


NICKNAME: Gimli
LEVEL: Lv 65
MOVESET: bounce -- flame wheel -- fury attack -- poison jab

[/b]: in valen's training, he had admired the ponytas and rapidashs, so he had a goal to catch on. it took him months to find the right one but he did in fact find one and caught it. he named it gimli because it meant fire and this pokemon was hasty and strong.[/ul]
