THE POSITIVE: Lyra is a cheerful and friendly girl. She makes friends very easily, being adaptable and able to get along with pretty much any sort of person, although she can't stand the sort who enjoy violence or any illegal substances. She can make people smile and creates quite a positive atmosphere when around other people, being the sociable girl that she is. She's had a little attention from boys before as well, and makes sure anyone she goes out with is going to be a good friend first. She hasn't had a relationship before, but she would make it a lasting one and be loyal to it. She has strong morals, too, and would never give in to peer pressure. She hates anything illegal and while some people call her a 'goody-goody' or whatever, she just chooses to do what she feels is right and what she is happy doing.[/b]: Acting, singing, composing, comedy (both watching and making jokes of her own), friends, listening to music, boys (she wants a relationship but nothing too extreme)
Lyra is reasonably intelligent and good at the arts. She can sing, write music and act to a high standard, while her skills at drawing and things like that are a long way behind. Her songs vary depending on how she's feeling, but generally they're upbeat and happy. She listens to music on her iPod an awful lot, her favourite artists being Mika, Take That and every now and then she might listen to JLS or Michael Bublé. Her acting skills are pretty decent, too, Lyra loving to be in plays of all sorts. This makes her a good lier. Her drawing skills are pretty miserable. Give her a pencil and tell her to draw a dog, and maybe you'll manage to tell where the head is. Maybe. Her intelligence is mostly scientific, although she does have a good knowledge of litriture too. She isn't so good at maths or languages. Since Lyra is intelligent in the way of science and random, completely useless facts as well as loving the arts as opposed to a more accademic, studious sort, Pokémon training suits her and she hopes to go far in Johto.
THE NEGATIVE: While Lyra is the happy, cheerful, likeable girl she is, there are of course bad things about her. For one, she can be a little eccentric at times, bouncing about like an annoyingly hyperactive exciteable puppy, although of course puppies can't bounce and I don't think any of us want to test that out. Take my word for it. She is impulsive, doing whatever she feels like without thinking too hard about the concequences. Her energetic behavoir can be quite annoying if someone is feeling gloomy, since the last thing someone feeling generally down in the dumps wants is to have a buzzing person ranting on about not much in perticular. She can get on people's nerves quite effectively, and by now she's learned that when someone is upset they don't enjoy her energy, so she instead stands around awkwardly trying to think of something to say and generally making a rather strange atmosphere.
She is also a bit obsessive and a slight perfectionist. To her, nothing she ever does looks/sounds/whatever right. No matter what standard her work is, she will always insist that someone else's is better- and we all know how annoying that can be. The biggest problem here is that she genuinely feels that way, and will continue tweaking whatever she's done until it is absolutely perfect, at which stage she will reluctantly finish and make herself and those around herself have pretty poor images of themselves. She's quite stubborn with her work, too, working at it obsessively until she's done everything she possibly can do. If anyone asks her to go somewhere or do something while she's doing something already, you might as well get out a book and read while you wait. She herself doesn't like waiting too much. All the energy swarming around inside her does not lead to a very patient person, and she gets bored easily in lessons consisting of sitting down and listening, while lessons in which she can actually do something such as Drama or Science experiments, she loves. Except for PE. Exercise and Lyra do not mix, especially since she has a great talent for injuring herself on literally anything.
DISLIKES: Being alone, being ignored, meat, people getting upset
HOBBIES: Listening to music, singing, writing songs, inventing jokes, trying to befriend her pokémon.
FEARS: Rejection, being alone, small spaces (claustophobia)
