THE POSITIVE: Yukiko loves Pokemon, realizing they're smarter and more individual than many people give her credit for. She is almost always polite--or at least seems to be. Ideally, when angered she'd deliver stealth insults. She's quite intelligent for her age, understanding quite a bit of calculus she learned from her home's private library.
THE NEGATIVE: Yukiko is very headstrong, and doesn't like to take advice. In fact, she doesn't like to talk to people at all. She prefers Pokemon, and thinks of them as better than humans. When she does talk to other people, and the conversation falls outside of the rules of etiquette she's learned, she becomes very awkward.

[/b]: Persephone was a 'gift' from a spurned suitor, whose father was a Pokemon breeder; somehow or other, it came to be that Persephone was somewhat...murderous is the only word for it, really. Said suitor left the Sneasel in a box for Yukiko to find, knowing her curiosity would force her to open it. However, having talked through the wicker box before opening it, the Sneasel did nothing violent as she was let out and led to food and water. This was only a few months ago, so while she trusts Yukiko, it's still best to be wary of her. [/ul]

This was because the Spinarak was asleep. Figuring why not, Yukiko caught the spider, as she did like this one's colors.
