THE POSITIVE:

Felix has always been focused. Once he gets a grasp on what he wants to do, he goes for it with the fullest potential. This focus of his is mostly external, where he'll deal with things rationally and logically, although visibly, he just might struggling with two decisions. Even if it might not seem so, Felix is very smart and pretty good at analyzing things in a logical fashion. Because of this, it keeps him a realistic-optimistic, constantly hoping for the best, but knowing that things could possibly lead astray and go wrong. Because of this, he's usually full of good cheer and won't mind trying to get a friend or companion of his to go rooting along with him.

While he's cautious about things and avoiding danger when that option is available, the teen has an adventurous spirit. He loves getting the chance to go traveling on foot over to the next city or making a trip to the local Mart fun in some way. Felix's life might not be a hit blockbuster film, but he does love action and can come off as being quite fearless when the situation calls for it. It just may worry him for a bit, but when things come down to it, he absolutely thrives for the spice in 'boring' life. With that said, he's an action-oriented person. Felix likes to be up and about doing things instead of sitting around so that he won't become easily bored.

Being fiercely independent is one his key traits. Felix enjoys having space to make his own decisions without having someone over his shoulder to tell him what to do. Also, adaptable and spontaneous, he knows how to respond what is going on in front of him. He is loyal to his own causes and beliefs, as well as his friends. Felix might not keep exactly to the rules of someone else, but its a known fact that he will never betray his own personal laws. This makes him reliable and responsible, even if he will take his sweet time getting something done.

He was raised not to judge a book by its cover, and therefore, he'd rather know a person instead of going by a first impression. He isn't selfish in the least and will assist a person that seems as if they need help. It's quite obvious that Felix is a helpful, nearly over-affectionate person. Most of the time, his curiosity in something will push him forward to learn more and keeps him on the move.

THE NEGATIVE:

The last thing that Felix is, is social. He doesn't exactly know how to start conversations with people or keep them going without making things awkward. As odd as this is though, he can't seem to stay out of other people's personal space. Felix often gets too close to strangers or people he doesn't know because of his natural curiosity. And even with people he is acquainted with, he's still learning when to back up out of someone else's bubble.

Because he's use to spending so much time with his Pokemon only, Felix is still getting use to portraying his feelings in an appropriate manner. Since he keeps so much negativity pent up inside, when things go wrong or don't go his way, he'll most likely explode with emotional outbursts. From sadness to anger, or even his constant nervousness, he's often overwhelmed by his own feelings. Felix might not realize it, but his words can be pretty rash at times and extremely blunt. Sometimes, he doesn't realize how his actions are affecting others.

While independent, it doesn't stop him from being gullible and taking someone else's word. When people say things to him, he takes it to heart and will break down the words to every single possible meaning that just might go for him. Its not that he has a low self esteem, he's still working on accepting criticism and others opinions on him. Felix is very opinionated himself. If he were more outgoing, he'd debate on a lot of things instead of keeping it to himself. His reserved nature has caused him to be socially awkward, but he's gradually becoming better and less of a 'wimp' about certain things.

Felix is also genuinely selfless. Sometimes he'll put the concerns of others before his own and ends up most of the time with nothing to show since he decided to help everyone else. While this might be a double-edged sword, Felix has a hard time trusting people. He might believe something that they say, but trusting the person his hard for him. Even some of his closer friends, he wonders if he really can count on them in the long run.

Being stubborn is also something Felix is good at. He doesn't like accepting help much from others since he believes that he can do a lot of things for himself. Its just that being overly independent sometimes, isn't the greatest thing. Also, since he likes to do things without all the talk in between, it can lead him to be impulsive and sometimes, even reckless depending on the action. He'll apologize afterward, whether he meant it or not.

DISLIKES: bug pokemon, headaches, criticism, losing things, his lack of exercise, fear, junk and clutter, constant repetitive noises, team rocket, cheaters, health food, planning everything ahead of time, worrying, large crowds, sticking out in a group of people, being woken up from sleeping, falling, getting nagged at, stuffy rooms, annoying people, forests, rumors and gossip, noisy children.
HOBBIES: taking and looking at pictures, decorating the gym, leisurely just-for-fun battling, telling jokes, writing short poems (even if they don't make much sense), baking and eating sweets.
FEARS: becoming extremely ill, any of his pokemon dying prematurely - especially in front of him, getting fat, losing his title of gym leader or having to retire early.

[/b]: this rowdy cat was first given to felix as a young meowth from his grandmother who bred pokemon as a hobby. jazz was his first pokemon to begin training with and her uppity attitude didn't seem to make things easier. it took a while, but they learned to deal with each other even though jazz was constantly annoyed by felix's shy-away approach to things. they held a steady, yet close friendship, and after evolving, the cat became even more adamant on coaxing her trainer out of his shell. even after felix became the gym leader, her respect for him did little but raise and now she presses him even harder. its almost as if she's raising him. but she has the headstrong personality that keep felix going.[/ul]


NICKNAME: isis ♀
LEVEL: forty seven.
MOVESET: dizzy punch, water pulse, iron tail, mega punch

[/b]: isis is just an all-around, in-your-face kind of girl. she's loud and excitable, but knows when to be mature and absolutely loves a challenge. at first, she's quite wary of surroundings but once no danger is spotted to harm either felix or her young, she's out in the open and cheering things on. isis pushes felix to do his best and is way more supporting than jazz. actually, they met due to the fact that the parent pokemon thought jazz was a wild persian that was picking on the poor passing human. as good natured as she is, she leaped out to defend him, surprised to find that he was the persian's trainer. even still, isis doesn't get along very well with jazz.[/ul]


NICKNAME: sesame ♂
LEVEL: forty three.
MOVESET: stomp, psybeam, double kick, energy ball

[/b]: felix came across sesame after he was separated from his herd. completely wild, the girafarig attacked felix in defense of himself and after battling the normal-type with jazz, he was able to catch him. even still, sesame is quick-tempered and impatient, and just might go kicking at anyone that grinds his gears. the way to his heart is with a sweet berry or a few calming pats over the head where he'll then deem you worthy enough for his affections. too bad felix didn't know that before.[/ul]


NICKNAME: ellie ♀
LEVEL: forty two.
MOVESET: dig, extremespeed, fire fang, double team

[/b]: if she were human, she'd be considered to a tomboy. the arcanine loves to get out in the mud and get a little dirt on her paws. she's as friendly as can be, but pretty protective of felix. often times, she'll growl at people who walk by or speak to him if he isn't acquainted very well with them, though a small pop on the nose or "shhh" will quiet her down. found as a roaming, starving, stray growlithe in the city, felix couldn't help but to take her in and give her a place to stay and food for the night. when he went to release her, she instead decided to stay with him and he's had her ever since.[/ul]

NICKNAME: rolo ♂
LEVEL: forty one.
MOVESET: quick attack, swift, yawn, bite

[/b]: rolo wants to be a 'big dog' so bad and even puffs up his chest to try and seem a little more frightening. its both his own and felix's wish that the little normal type doesn't evolve since he's perfectly fine as he is. he tries to hide it, but honestly, he's a real sweetheart and a bit of a punk as well. the slightest of glares will make him want to go into hiding, but he's brave enough not to. the eevee is pretty lazy as well, but right when it comes to battling, rolo loves the thrill and wouldn't have it any other way. [/ul]


NICKNAME: spinner ♂
LEVEL: thirty nine.
MOVESET: hyper voice, slam, toxic, shadow claw

[/b]: felix just recently got spinner use to him. he received the furret in a trade and the large, unruly pokemon almost ran him crazy at one point in time. spinner loves to do things his way and has a strong natural curiosity which gets him into loads of trouble. he pillages through other people's bags, and unintentionally takes things that aren't of much value - making him a kleptomanic. felix is trying to break him out of this, even though it seems like a lost cause.[/ul]
